Trusting GOD through difficult times: We all go through trials, but we have the author and perfector of our faith, our only strength, and ever-present help in trouble to help us persevere.
I thought about the WORD of GOD today, especially when going through trials. Trials are inevitable, especially in this world that we live in. It is not pleasant, nor is it something anyone wants to go through.
But we should never forget and meditate that the Lord Jesus Christ has overcome the world (John 16:33). So what we are going through is only temporary. It is only for a night for joy cometh in the morning. Therefore, we are not fighting for victory but from what He has already done.
Trust In The LORD
He’s fighting for us; all we need to be doing is a walk in obedience in His WORD and have the faith that He will carry us through. And the thing is, He will carry YOU through, not yourself. Therefore, trusting HIM and HIM only as He goes before you helps you to walk through this not by your own strength but by His mighty power, the power in the HOLY SPIRIT you have inside you.
Trusting GOD Through Difficult Times
I’m currently listening to this song, and it makes me think of the trial I am now going through. I don’t like it, but it is there. So I cannot ignore it nor run away from it. Because it is there. So what do you do? You have to go through it. And the only one that can help you go through this, with strength, courage, faith, grace, and mercy, is our GOD.
The one thing that GOD always tells us to praise is HIM because God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3).
He has overcome the world, also the power of GOD that is within us to will and to act to fulfill His purpose (Philippians 2:13). And, of course, the precious Holy Spirit that comforts us and guides us in all Truth (John 16:13).
In the bible, James tells us to count it all joy when we go through trials (James 1:2-4). Because they’re challenges that give us strength, when we overcome them, we are developed. If we were going through something like this again, we have already overcome it, increasing strength (Psalm 84:7).
So if you are going through specific trials, know that God has not left you, nor has He abandoned you. He is the GOD of all comfort. HIS WORD says that He will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). So have faith. Even if it is the faith of a mustard seed, our LORD Jesus Christ, the author, and perfector of our faith, will guard our minds and hearts in peace (Hebrews 12:1-4; Philippians 4:7).
So until next time, love the LORD, love others, Trust in HIM, and step in Peace.
