As Christians, we are not meant to live as the world does.  The world is defiled and only seeks its own desires.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2 NIV

We are set apart for God through Jesus Christ, who has saved us and set us free from the ways of the world.

Whatever stage you are in as a Christians, setting biblical and Holy – Spirit-filled boundaries is important. God wants you to live according to His purpose because He knows you better than anyone else. His plan for you is not to harm you but to give you hope and a future. But it takes you to seek Him with all your heart, then you will find Him (Jeremiah 29:11-13).

Your words, actions, beliefs, and attitude reflect who you are in Jesus Christ. When it doesn’t, it aligns with the world. As Christians, we should be careful how we live, and through Christ, we can. When we confessed and believed in the name of Jesus Christ, we became children of God, no longer children of the world. So how can we live a life that is set on God’s will and not our will or the world’s ways? It is through biblical and Holy – Spirit-filled boundaries.

  • It is through walking in the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
  • It is through putting on the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-17).
  • It is through seeking ye first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
  • It is through repentance of our sins. Not because we’re sinners but because we sin (1 John 1:9; Romans 8:1).
  • It is through the counsel and the teaching of the Holy Spirit that lives in us (John 16:13).
  • It is through constant prayer without ceasing. Seeking His face daily (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

But there are certain beliefs and attitudes that we still hold on to that we should no longer hold on to. They can lead us to not love God’s people as we should. Most importantly, not Love the way God wants us to love and live. It may also misconstrue our identity in Jesus Christ.

That is why the Setting Biblical boundaries Ebook was written. It is to inform you why biblical boundaries are important for you, as a Christian. It dives into how to set biblical boundaries in your words, thoughts, actions, and life.
