Return Back to GOD

Return Back to GOD: Why is GOD Calling His Children Back for this particular season and time? Here are some reasons why this season is important for the children of GOD.

Two posts I have written in the past underline what I am writing in this post. These posts are the book of Hosea and another about the revival that is occurring around the world. The reason for mentioning these posts is because they highlight what is currently happening globally. I have been interested in what God has been doing. And it is just amazing what GOD is doing to people. GOD does new and unique things to the people, from healing and deliverance to the remnant.

This should be an alert or an awakening for all of us. These things should tell you that God wants to do something in your life, mine, and the world. It is all about saving the lost souls, unveiling the darkness, restoring, and bringing the children of GOD back to HIM.

That’s excellent news.

“Therefore say to the Jews, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts (armies), “Return to ME, ” declares the LORD of hosts, “and I shall return to you.” Zechariah 1:3 AMP

We are also in a time where there is warfare, spiritual warfare, that is. And therefore, it is essential to pray for all the LORD’S people around the nation, wherever they may be, because the times are uncertain. We need to seek God’s face more and more because certain things will happen. Still, to be prepared and know what is to come, it is only when you have a relationship with the LORD Jesus Christ and have the HOLY SPIRIT that lives in you and guides you in all truth (John 16:13).

But that is not what I am talking about at this time. I am here to explain why GOD calls us back to HIM. And here are some reasons.

Return Back to GOD: Where Is Your Focus?

Where is your focus? Are you concerned about your life? Worried about certain things? Are you allowing what is in the world to cloud the truth written in the WORD of GOD? We have all been distracted and even led astray by the things of the world, but we are called to focus on the things above and not below.

Therefore, we are called to repentance, to return to our first LOVE.

Return Back to GOD: Book of Hosea

I read the book of Hosea last year, and it made sense then, and it makes sense now: GOD is calling back His children, and He is still calling them back. There is a post I wrote about the book of Hosea because there were things that cathed my attention as I read the WORD that I believe God is doing currently. I have learned that GOD’s love is unfailing and never stagnant, and one should never lean on their own understanding.

If you’ve been following the prophets, you must know what GOD is doing something in this season. And still is doing something in the church, the government, etc. He wants all to be saved and the truth to be exposed. At the same time, He desires all to seek HIM and not be distracted by what’s going on in the world, believing and going along with what others are saying rather than what GOD is saying.

Return Back to GOD: Your Purpose

God has a purpose and a calling for us (Jeremiah 29:11). And I have learned that it is not based on what we think is our purpose but on what GOD has placed in our hearts. This plan will be to serve others and glorify GOD, not ourselves. This plan and purpose bring GOD’s kingdom on earth, get back lost (the sheep), and save the lost.

So we need to rid of our own selfish desire because we are meant to serve as Christian (Galatians 5:16). We are meant to help those in need out of love. As Jesus Christ came to serve, we are also meant to serve. We are meant to tell the gospel everywhere we are with our deeds and words.

Return Back to GOD: The Importance of Repentance

Because so many of us have fallen away and are more concerned with the cares and concerns of the world, we have placed our focus less on GOD. That can also be considered an idol because your focus and concerns are not placed before GOD.

The WORD says to cast your cares upon, and He will sustain you (Psalm 55:22). Other verses underline the same intention, such as Phillippians 4:6-7, Psalm 62:8, Matthew 11:28-30, and 1 Peter 5:7. Read my previous post on if GOD forgives all my sins if you’re unsure if GOD will forgive your sins.

Our trust is not on things and not ourselves but in the LORD Jesus Christ.

But if we have not placed our trust in HIM with all things, we need to repent, ask the HOLY SPIRIT to renew our mind in the WORD, and walk faithfully with the LORD.

We are people who are different from the world because we are, in CHRIST, a new creature. We are free from the law of sin and death. Plus, we are free from condemnation (Romans 8:1). And we are saints overflowed with the grace that helps us succeed in the calling Abba Father has laid for us to do in this life.

Return Back to GOD: The HOLY SPIRIT & What’s To Come

Also, I believe GOD is doing, but may GOD correct me about this; there is a great move of the HOLY SPIRIT among the world. And we have to be prepared for it. We have to desire the move of the HOLY SPIRIT because through HIM, we can do the mighty works of GOD.

The HOLY SPIRIT is so important in our life because he guides us, He leads us in all truth, and is our teacher! I urge you to desire more of the HOLY SPIRIT because we need HIS move more than ever in this season and this time.

Maybe you have not been guided by the HOLY SPIRIT and were led by your flesh (Romans 8:6-8). Repent, ask for forgiveness, and return to GOD. And even ask the HOLY SPIRIT for forgiveness because He may have told you or guided you toward one thing, but you went another way.

Repent before HIM and ask HIM to renew your thoughts so that He shows you thoughts that are pure, noble, lovely, admirable, excellent, praiseworthy, right, true (Philippians 4:8).

I need HIM and desire HIM, so you are not alone in this. We all need the HOLY SPIRIT in our lives to do the good works that Abba Father GOD has planned for us (Ephesians 2:10).

I have been called back for the repentance for my sins, including pride, and delivered from Pornography. This is to tell you that we all should check our hearts. God loves us, but when our focus and way of living does not align with HIS will and purpose, He does and may allow things to call us back, whatever and whoever He will use.

Here’s a video I have watched that may shed a bit of light on what is going on.

Let’s humbly come before Him with a repentance heart, and He will surely forgive us, the GOD full of grace, mercy, and lovingkindness. And let’s keep moving forward toward what He laid for us to do in this life.

Hope this post blessed you.

Until Next Time.
