And without faith it is impossible to please Him. So, can you please God without faith?
You should already know the answer if you’ve read my previous post. But for those who do not know the answer to this, for those who may be Christian but are inclined to read what it means to have faith in God, this read is for you.
You see, faith is, according to the Hebrews 11:1, “The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Faith is evident throughout the stories of the Bible in how GOD spoke various promises to people and even told things that came to the past. This is all about faith and the power of words. But we’re not talking about the spoken words, and we’re just going to talk about faith.
I have been reading the Bible and listening to sermons about faith. Faith is powerful if you think about it. Even Jesus says this,
“This is why I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer-be convinced that you have received it, and it will be yours.” – Mark 11:24 (TPT)
This true statement is about faith, which is a powerful ‘tool’ when we walk in it.
Even in the earlier verse, Jesus says to have faith in GOD (Mark 11:22). DO you know how great the faith of GOD is? Do you know how GOD’s faithfulness stretches to the skies? If GOD has the faith to create the earth in six days, then having his faith, because we are made in His likeness, should allow us to believe in the big things He has planned for us. Though we may not know these plans, it is essential and even critical to have faith in GOD.
The whole Bible talks about people who had to be faithful to GOD’s promise that was spoken over them. Miracles and wonders occurred in the life of these people, which was also to let all the nations know how the Great and Awesome God is, Elohim! And sometimes that faith was not as strong as GOD, but GOD’s faithfulness accomplished the plans.
As Jesus Christ said, even if you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can speak to the mountains ‘be cast out into the sea’. It starts small as a seed but grows into a big strong tree. And you know what? Your mountain is not as big as you think. Your mountain is as big as you believe it is. Because the more significant you think it is, it also means that you don’t know how big your great GOD is, who can move mountains!
And Without Faith It Is Impossible To Please Him
We all go through trials that may seem significant as a mountain. But we have a GOD who can do the impossible. All we have to do is believe and have faith, speak unto that mountain, and it is moved in the name of Jesus Christ. It is all about speaking the WORD of truth to your situation and having faith you will come out of it. It may seem complicated and challenging, through the natural, but I am reminded countless times that GOD is faithful. GOD’s love abounds, and you absolutely got to trust in HIM. Don’t look into your circumstance as you forever situations, but look at it as temporary.
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things” – Colossians 3:2 (NIV)
At times, we will fall short, but that does not mean it ends there. As a born-again Christian, we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence so that we can receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
So when we need to be refreshed, GOD will refresh us in His mercy.
And believe me, His grace has helped me every day as I go through trials. Nothing compares to the beautiful mercy and grace of the LORD GOD. His grace is sufficient and perfected in our weakness.
The LORD GOD will also help you when you believe in Him and what He can do. He’s done in what He said with Abraham, David, Daniel, and overall Jesus Christ, who died but rose again so that we may have eternal life. These people, including the LORD Jesus Christ, had faith in GOD and believed in what He said.
So are you willing to let GOD do what He desires to do in your life? Are you going to live by faith continuously? Or do you not believe in what He has said in His WORDS?
If at any point you did not have faith in GOD, repent of that. He is faithful and just to forgive you of all your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
“For where your treasure is, your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21
I hope this post blessed you.
